Darnestown Campus

Georgetown Hill’s Darnestown campus shares a space with the newly-renovated Darnestown Presbyterian Church, and is convenient to families in Gaithersburg, Kentlands, Germantown, and North Potomac. We offer both full- and part-time options for Twos through Transitional Kindergarten, as well as an outstanding school-age program. The play-based P.L.A.N. curriculum at Darnestown utilizes evidence-based approaches to early childhood education that spark the natural learner in every child.

Campus Director

Meet Danielle McGuire

Danielle McGuire, the Director of our Darnestown Campus, started with Georgetown Hill in 2016 as a Threes Teacher, then taught the Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs. During college, Danielle was convinced that she would teach High School English, but after interviewing with Georgetown Hill, her teaching journey was forever changed. Danielle’s favorite thing about Georgetown Hill is the everlasting bonds created in our classrooms. It brings her much joy to see the friendships that started at GHES continue to blossom today!
