NDMU/Baltimore Campus

Georgetown Hill assumed operation of A Child’s Place childcare center which has been open on the campus of Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU) for over 40 years. The campus serves the collegiate hub of northwestern Baltimore including the Loyola University and Towson University communities. We offer both full- and part-time programs for Twos through Pre-Kindergartners. The play-based P.L.A.N. curriculum at NDMU utilizes evidence-based approaches to early childhood education that spark the natural learner in every child.

Meet Ashlyn Gibson

Ashlyn Gibson is the Director of our NDMU campus. Ashlyn served as an assistant teacher, lead teacher, and assistant director at our Potomac Village campus before stepping into her new role at NDMU. The things Ashlyn loves most about her job are getting to know our students and their families, celebrating children’s milestones, and being part of their learning journey. Ashlyn is a huge Baltimore Ravens fan–she goes to most home games and wears purple every Friday! Ashlyn grew up surrounded by a big family, which is where her passion for working with children first began.
